What an amazing few weeks we have had both in direct family and extended family (all of you students).
Most important though is the fact that we always must remind ourselves to be thankful. Be thankful for our health and attributes that make us who we are. Be thankful for who we know. Including our loved-ones and friends to those distant classmates and co-workers.
My thanks is first to all those that I love included my direct family. My wife shows me love no matter what happens. She will stick by my side through and through. Oh and My daughter continues to teach me more and more about life, people, learning, and of course my-self. Thank you to those that I love for every second of every day.
I also want to say a big thank you to the martial arts. Without them I would not have the health, confidence or perseverance that I have now. If I hadn't started teach martial arts, I would not have met all the wonderful people that make the Martial Way Academy the great training place that it continues to be. Thank you to all of my students and friends in arts that continue to make my life fruitful and enjoyable.
Last but not least, thank you to me motha!!! She gave me an early Christmas Present today by telling me tracked down someone that made a big difference in my life. She tracked down my God Father, or as I called him Uncle Ed. He truly made a difference in my life and I was told we are going to get connected here in the next few weeks. I can't wait to catch up since it has been so many years. Much of my strength and survival instincts comes from this man and I definitely owe him a big THANK YOU!!! Guro Larry
